Peter Kisadha

Peter Kisadha is a Ugandan venture capitalist and the founder of Digest Africa, a platform that provides verified, tailored, and real-time news about Africa’s early-stage technology companies. Established in 2017, Digest Africa aims to support investors and corporates by offering fact-checked and up-to-date information, including analysis that is easy to consume and understand, to guide profitable decision-making. The company operates primarily in Uganda and has a team of five employees. Under Kisadha's leadership, Digest Africa has secured funding, including a $40,000 pre-seed investment from Founders Factory Africa in April 2019. Prior to founding Digest Africa, Kisadha worked as an analyst at investment fund Future Africa, where he gained experience in early-stage fundraising and investment strategies. He has also been involved in various initiatives to build a funding ecosystem for Uganda's tech sector, collaborating with investors, career professionals, and entrepreneurs to create a community aimed at supporting ambitious Ugandans in building billion-dollar businesses. Additionally, Kisadha has been associated with RAFIKI, serving as the Country Manager, where he has been scaling the company's global operations across Africa. His work focuses on fostering innovation and supporting the growth of technology startups in the region, contributing to the development of Uganda's digital economy. Through his ventures, Kisadha continues to play a significant role in shaping the future of Africa's tech landscape, emphasizing the importance of strategic investments and community collaboration to drive sustainable growth and innovation.
