Piedmont Angel Network

Piedmont Angel Network (PAN) is a committed capital angel fund that focuses on investment opportunities in early-stage companies with high growth potential. PAN has invested in 23 companies since 2002, primarily in the life science, technology, software, and advanced materials sectors. While the fund has a preference for investments in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina, PAN has also made investments across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.

The network seeks to invest in businesses addressing significant problems with large market potential, often targeting markets with annual revenues of at least $50 to $100 million. PAN participates in funding rounds as a lead or follow-on investor and is open to syndicating with other angels, investment networks, or venture firms to raise the remaining balance of the round.
