PNC Riverarch Capital is a middle-market private equity firm that invests in privately held companies headquartered throughout North America and Europe. The firm seeks well-positioned companies in which to invest $10 million to $100 million of equity capital to support recapitalizations, leveraged and management buyouts, corporate divestitures, and growth financings. PNC Riverarch Capital invests across a variety of industry sectors, including business and industrial services, specialized manufacturing, value-added distribution, food and beverage, franchising, laboratory products and services, MRO and related support services, environmental services, transportation and distribution, software, tech-enabled services, consumer products and services, and information technology.

Formed in January 2011 with a capital commitment of $250 million, PNC Riverarch Capital is an affiliate of The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. and represents PNC's continued dedication to serving the middle market. Since 1982, PNC Riverarch and its predecessors have provided equity capital to over 100 companies. The firm is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and is the private equity affiliate of The PNC Financial Services Group.

In March 2024, PNC Riverarch Capital announced the close of its latest private equity fund, Riverarch Equity Partners 4, with $1.0 billion in commitments. The firm has already made four investments in Fund 4 and has made 34 platform investments and realized its investment in 21 of those companies since its founding in 2011. The firm's approach remains consistent, focusing on investing in established, high-quality middle-market companies across value-added distribution, business services, and specialized manufacturing in North America and Europe, with meaningful opportunities to accelerate growth and improve the profile of the business.
