Ponooc VC is a Dutch venture capital firm that invests in early-stage companies specializing in sustainable and innovative technologies. Their primary focus is on ventures operating in sustainable energy, including generation, distribution, and storage, as well as innovative mobility solutions. Ponooc VC aims to actively contribute to solving mobility challenges, providing urban congestion solutions, and combating global warming. In June 2021, Ponooc VC invested a seven-figure sum in Bikemap, a Vienna-based startup that offers a global community for cyclists. The investment was intended to support Bikemap's product development and team scaling. Ponooc VC has also invested in other companies such as Swapfiets, a bicycle subscription service, and Unu, a Berlin-based electric scooter startup.

In 2024, Ponooc VC launched Move Energy Fund I, a new venture capital fund focused on accelerating the energy transition in the Netherlands and Western Europe. This marked a significant step in their mission to invest in early-stage scale-ups at the forefront of innovating both hardware and software solutions contributing to the energy transition. As a result, Ponooc VC no longer has an active investment mandate, and the management of their current funds was taken over by Move Energy.
