Prelude Growth Partners seeks to invest between $15 million and $75 million in each company, targeting sectors such as beauty & personal care, food & beverage, health & wellness, pet products, and other consumer categories.

By leveraging deep category experience and a broad network, Prelude Growth Partners offers value-added operational support to accelerate the development of its portfolio companies. The firm has backed leading consumer brands including Sol de Janeiro, Bachan’s, MadeGood, PHLUR, Blueland, Summer Fridays, So Good So You, Skin Pharm, and Westman Atelier.

Since its inception in 2017, Prelude Growth Partners has raised over $1.3 billion in assets under management. The firm closed its third fund, Prelude Growth Partners III, L.P., in August 2025, reaching its hard cap with $600 million in total commitments. This fund received strong support from a broad base of institutional investors, including endowments, charitable foundations, public pension funds, global financial institutions, and family offices. The firm's previous fund, Prelude Growth Partners II, L.P., closed in 2021 with $250 million in committed capital.

Prelude Growth Partners is led by Managing Partners and Co-Founders Neda Daneshzadeh and Alicia Sontag. Neda Daneshzadeh previously served as a Partner at L Catterton, a global consumer-focused private equity firm, while Alicia Sontag was Global President of Beauty at Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies, overseeing a portfolio of over 10 iconic brands. Their combined expertise and leadership have been instrumental in the firm's success and growth in the consumer investment sector.
