Privilège Ventures

Privilège Ventures is a Swiss-based venture capital firm authorized by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA). The firm focuses on early-stage investments in sectors such as HealthTech, CleanTech, and AgriFoodTech, primarily targeting companies in Switzerland, Italy, and Germany. Privilège Ventures aims to support young founders on a mission to build the future, leveraging the team's experience as founders, entrepreneurs, operators, and investors to provide unceasing support, expertise, and valuable network access to help entrepreneurs forge ahead.

The firm's investment strategy emphasizes leading funding rounds and fostering diversity by investing in mixed-gender founding teams developing innovative technologies with a positive impact on people and the planet. Privilège Ventures has a history of supporting female-led startups, launching Fund IV in November 2022, dedicated to scouting and investing in female-led early-stage startups across Europe. This CHF 20 million fund was the first of its kind in Switzerland and one of very few globally, acting on research that shows that for every $1 of investment raised, startups run and co-run by women generated roughly twice the revenues on investments compared to male-led companies.

Since its inception, Privilège Ventures has invested in 36 companies and achieved three exits. The firm's portfolio includes standout female innovators and talent, such as von Bidder’s Ava Women AG, which recently exited to U.S.-based FemTec Health; AgroSustain SA, pioneers in all-natural crop protection coatings; and IDUN Technologies AG, the neural interface unlocking secrets to better sleep and direct brain-machine interaction. The founding team has a long experience investing in venture capital and has been working together for the past six years, demonstrating a strong track record in supporting and scaling early-stage companies across Europe.
