RedBird IMI is a joint venture between RedBird Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, and International Media Investments (IMI), a global media company based in Abu Dhabi. The firm specializes in investing in high-growth companies within the media, entertainment, sports, and live event sectors. RedBird IMI's portfolio includes notable investments such as All3Media, the UK's largest independent production company, and Media Res Studio, known for producing high-profile scripted series like Apple TV+'s 'The Morning Show'.

In May 2024, RedBird IMI completed its largest transaction to date by acquiring All3Media for £1.15 billion ($1.45 billion). This acquisition added 50 production labels to its portfolio, including Studio Lambert, Raw, and Two Brothers Pictures, which have produced popular global shows like 'Fleabag' and 'Squid Game: The Challenge'. Additionally, RedBird IMI has invested in EverWonder Studio, Hidden Pigeon Company, Front Office Sports, and the United Football League (UFL).

The firm's investment strategy focuses on building a global media company across news, entertainment, and sports. RedBird IMI aims to support and grow its portfolio companies by leveraging its expertise and resources in the media and entertainment industries. The firm has also been involved in strategic decisions, such as withdrawing from a bid to acquire the UK's Telegraph Media Group in April 2024, opting instead to sell the assets to ensure editorial independence.
