Established in 2006, the Russian Venture Company (RVC) is a state-owned fund of funds dedicated to fostering the growth of the Russian venture capital market. Operating under the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) since 2021, RVC focuses on investing in venture funds that target Russian technology companies. Its strategy emphasizes thorough selection processes for new funds and investments based on a co-investment model, leveraging RDIF's expertise.

RVC has been instrumental in creating over 30 funds, committing more than 35 billion RUB to support the development of the Russian economy. The company actively supports technology entrepreneurs in priority sectors such as biomedicine, energy, advanced manufacturing, materials science, quantum technologies, and digital technologies. Through initiatives like the GenerationS accelerator, RVC fosters innovation and entrepreneurship within these industries.
