Shailesh Vikram Singh

Shailesh Vikram Singh is a seasoned venture capitalist and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in startup investing and environmental initiatives. He is the founder of GoMassive Earth Network, which has launched the Climate Angels Fund and the Massive Earth Foundation. The Climate Angels Fund is a SEBI-registered Category 1 fund that invests in climate tech startups, having invested in 19 leading climate tech startups in India and the USA. The Massive Earth Foundation is a non-profit organization conducting deep-dive research in areas such as air pollution, plastic pollution, and livable cities, and runs a climate accelerator program and open innovation challenges for corporations and multi-lateral organizations. The foundation organizes 'LowCarbon.Earth', Asia's largest climate tech accelerator, in partnership with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP).

Prior to founding GoMassive, Shailesh was the Executive Director at SeedFund, a $54 million venture capital fund, where he managed investments in the Delhi NCR region. Before SeedFund, he served as the Managing Director at a $170 million private equity fund. His extensive experience includes co-founding Zygote Tech in 1999, which achieved a successful exit in 2003, and assisting in the creation of another startup in the agricultural commodities space, which was acquired by a media conglomerate in 2005. He has also worked with 2i Capital, Unit Trust of India, and Gujarat Venture Finance, focusing on investments in logistics, technology, telecommunications, media, and internet companies.

Shailesh holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and a B.Tech in Production Engineering from G.B. Pant University. He has been a speaker at various industry forums and panels, including the Financial Times Investing for Good in Hong Kong, the UN Regional Climate Summit in Bangkok, the SWITCH Asia Clean Air Summit in Bangkok, the ANDE Summit, and the United Nations Environment Assembly in Nairobi. He regularly contributes to leading publications such as the Economic Times and Times of India and frequently appears on news channels like CNBC Awaaz and News24, discussing topics related to climate investing, venture capital, and entrepreneurship.
