Sheraa Sharjah

Established in 2016, Sheraa Sharjah is a government-supported entity dedicated to building and nurturing the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Operating from the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park, Sheraa offers a comprehensive suite of programs and resources designed to support entrepreneurs at various stages of their journey, from ideation to scaling their ventures. The center provides mentorship, access to funding, and a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and growth.

Sheraa's initiatives include the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival, which brings together entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders to share knowledge and foster collaboration. Additionally, Sheraa has launched the Sharjah Women Impact Fellowship, aiming to advance women's leadership in entrepreneurship by offering a platform for women founders to scale their impact and drive meaningful change within their communities and beyond. Through these efforts, Sheraa continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of entrepreneurship in the region.

In August 2025, Sheraa signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Startup Middle East to launch the India Startup Hub in Sharjah, aiming to connect Indian entrepreneurs with the UAE’s innovation ecosystem. This partnership is part of a broader effort to expand market access, connect entrepreneurs to global platforms, and foster collaborative innovation. The India Startup Hub in Sharjah serves as a dedicated platform designed to connect Indian entrepreneurs with Sharjah’s innovation ecosystem, unlocking new avenues for growth and expansion.

Sheraa's commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive entrepreneurial environment is further demonstrated by its support for women-led businesses. The inaugural Sharjah Women Impact Fellowship, launched in August 2025, offers a powerful platform for scaling impact and driving meaningful change within entrepreneurial communities and industries across the globe. This initiative is designed to identify, accelerate, and champion high-potential women founders who are ready to scale their impact, providing them with the resources, mentorship, and networks required to succeed.
