Silicon Catalyst

Silicon Catalyst is the world's only incubator and accelerator focused exclusively on semiconductor and deep tech solutions, including chips, chiplets, materials, IP, photonics, MEMS, sensors, life science, and quantum technologies. Since its inception, it has engaged with over 1,500 semiconductor startups worldwide and admitted more than 150 companies into its programs. The organization operates a 24-month customized incubation program, providing startups with a semiconductor-focused curriculum and access to over 40 events annually. This comprehensive support is facilitated through a vast ecosystem of in-kind partners, strategic partners, investors, advisors, and collaborations with universities, industry organizations, accelerators, and government agencies. These partnerships have enabled Silicon Catalyst to offer startups millions of dollars in goods and services, including EDA tools, IP, PDKs, prototypes, design and test services, packaging, and business solutions. Additionally, the organization has secured over $100 million in grants for its portfolio companies. In February 2024, Silicon Catalyst launched Silicon Catalyst Ventures (SCV) to fund early-stage startups accepted into its two-year program, making 26 investments in portfolio companies to date. The organization's mission is to drive innovation by helping semiconductor startups succeed, leveraging its extensive network and resources to accelerate the commercialization and global expansion of breakthrough technologies originating from Japan and Asia. This global outreach includes the recent launch of Silicon Catalyst Japan, which works closely with the U.S., U.K., and EU teams to support startups in the semiconductor and deep tech sectors. Through its strategic collaborations and dedicated support, Silicon Catalyst continues to play a pivotal role in advancing the semiconductor industry and fostering technological innovation across the globe.
