Sofia Angels Ventures is a €13 million venture capital fund established to co-invest alongside angel investors, family offices, and other private investors and funds. The fund primarily focuses on technology startups at the pre-seed and seed stages, predominantly from Bulgaria, Southeast Europe, and Central and Eastern European countries, with a vision to operate across Europe and globally. The management team comprises angel investors, entrepreneurs, and executives who have transitioned into venture capitalists.

The fund's investment strategy emphasizes co-investing on a deal-by-deal basis, with initial investments ranging from €200,000 to €500,000 and follow-on investments up to €1 million. Sofia Angels Ventures is supported by InnovFin Equity, with financial backing from the European Union under Horizon 2020 Financial Instruments and the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI), established under the Investment Plan for Europe. This support aims to facilitate financing and implement productive investments within the European Union, ensuring increased access to financing.
