Solborn Investment

Solborn Investment is the venture capital arm of Solborn Inc., focusing on all stages of venture investment in companies operating in information technology, nanotechnology, and biotechnology sectors. The firm specializes in incubation and all stages of venture investment, typically investing in the information technology, biotechnology, and nanotechnology sectors. It does not invest in food and lodging, financial and insurance, real estate, golf and ski, gambling, and dance industries, nor in companies operating for more than seven years. Solborn Investment was formerly known as Serome Venture Investment Co., Ltd. and was established in 2000, based in Seoul, South Korea.

In 2025, Solborn Investment was expelled from the Korea Venture Capital Association for failing to establish new venture funds and not paying association fees for over ten years. This expulsion indicates challenges in its operations and raises questions about its current activity status.
