Established in 2011, StartupYard is a seed accelerator based in Prague, Czech Republic, dedicated to fostering deep-tech startups. The accelerator offers a fully remote, three-month program that provides intensive mentorship, personalized workshops, and growth opportunities. Startups receive a convertible note worth €45,000, with the potential for an additional €25,000, bringing the total to €70,000. The valuation cap typically ranges between €800,000 and €1.5 million, with a 20% discount. The program is designed to prepare startups for rapid growth, successful launches, and securing further funding.

StartupYard's investment focus includes sectors such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Internet of Things, Cryptography, Robotics, Cyber-Security, and Predictive Analytics. The accelerator primarily targets pre-seed, seed, and Series A stages, with investments ranging from €25,000 to €100,000. The geographical focus encompasses Central and Eastern European countries, including the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

Over the years, StartupYard has accelerated numerous startups, many of which have secured significant funding and achieved notable success. The accelerator's alumni include companies like Rossum.ai, Neuron Soundware, Gjirafa.com, DameJidlo, and BudgetBakers. Collectively, these startups have raised over €100 million in funding and have created hundreds of jobs worldwide, contributing to the growth and development of the deep-tech ecosystem in the region.
