In November 2021, SG Credit Partners acquired Stonegate Capital, marking its entry into asset-based lending with a focus on high-growth consumer and recurring revenue verticals. Following the acquisition, Stonegate Capital continued to operate independently as a new division of SG Credit Partners, providing credit facilities ranging from $2 million to over $10 million to companies operating in the U.S. and Canada. Target markets include providers of goods and services to the consumer sector, such as food and beverage, naturals, beauty, e-commerce, fashion, and recurring revenue businesses.

In April 2023, SG Credit Partners rebranded Stonegate Capital to SG Consumer Products, reflecting its commitment to being the leading debt partner to exceptional consumer brands. SG Consumer Products provides asset-based lines of credit, as well as IP/brand and M&E term loans, primarily to sponsor-backed, high-growth consumer brands generating revenue of $15 to $200+ million. The firm has significant experience investing in high-growth consumer brands, including Johnnie-O, Caulipower, Clio Snacks, Mizzen + Main, Purely Elizabeth, Simple Mills, Tata Harper Skincare, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, and Zevia.
