Tommy Ahlers

Tommy Ahlers is a Danish entrepreneur and investor with a strong background in technology startups. He co-founded ZYB, a social networking site, in 2005, which was acquired by Vodafone in 2008. Subsequently, he became CEO of Podio, a collaborative work platform, leading to its acquisition by Citrix in 2012. Ahlers has been an active angel investor, focusing on early-stage technology companies, particularly in Denmark. His investment portfolio includes companies such as Ento Labs, Pufin ID, and Worksome. In addition to his entrepreneurial and investment activities, Ahlers served as Denmark's Minister of Higher Education and Science from 2018 to 2019. He is also a founding partner of Look Up Ventures, a venture firm dedicated to supporting green startups developing research-based technology.
