The fund primarily invests in early-stage and growth-stage companies across various sectors, including renewable energy, energy storage, distributed energy resources, smart grids, mobility and transportation, digital factory, industrial IoT, and smart manufacturing.

TEV's geographical focus spans multiple countries, including the United States, China, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, India, Brazil, South Korea, Japan, Canada, Australia, Mexico, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark. The fund typically invests between $5 million and $50 million in each portfolio company, aiming to acquire minority interests to support their development.
