TrenLab is Renfe's innovation arm, dedicated to transforming the mobility and logistics sectors by collaborating with startups, Renfe employees, and the broader innovation ecosystem. It serves as a platform to experiment with new technologies, promote sustainability, and support entrepreneurial talent.

The accelerator program offers up to €50,000 in funding for project development, with the potential to secure contracts with Renfe worth up to €1 million. Startups receive personalized support from mentors, experts, and technicians over a six-month period, aiming to scale their projects and integrate them into Renfe's operations.

TrenLab has successfully accelerated 26 startups, with over €2.5 million invested in pilot projects and more than €6 million in contracts awarded to participating companies. Notable success stories include Visualfy, Limmat, and GreeMko, which have secured significant contracts with Renfe, demonstrating the program's impact on fostering innovation in the transportation sector.
