UKI2S is a UK government-backed venture capital fund managed by Future Planet Capital, focusing on early-stage science and technology companies. The fund specializes in sectors such as defense and security, engineering biology, fusion energy, space, and knowledge assets. It aims to facilitate sustainable growth, enhance societal health and security, improve productivity, and deliver economic gains by commercializing innovations emerging from the UK's publicly funded science and knowledge base.

UKI2S has a track record of leveraging private investment, with over £700 million attracted into its portfolio companies.
