Virginia Active Angel Network

Virginia Active Angel Network (VAAN) is a professionally managed, membership-only network of accredited investors that convenes in Charlottesville, Virginia, and the Blacksburg & Roanoke areas. The group focuses on providing funding and mentorship to early and seed-stage ventures primarily in central and southern Virginia, as well as the greater Mid-Atlantic region, including Maryland, Washington, DC, North Carolina, and West Virginia. VAAN was founded in 2005 by a group of University of Virginia alumni and has since expanded its reach to support a diverse range of industries and entrepreneurs.
