It targets companies at the seed and Series A stages, writing checks of €250,000 to €750,000 (approximately $270,000 to $820,000) in up to 30 companies, reserving a full 60% of capital for follow-on investments.

WakeUp Capital's first fund reached a €25 million first close with backing from the government-backed Ireland Strategic Investment Fund and Enterprise Ireland. The fund has invested in companies such as Peri, a startup making wearables to enhance care for women in perimenopause; Lumoview, an energy data software venture in Germany; SEES.AI, a UK-based company making drones for infrastructure inspection; and Floreo, a US-based company developing virtual reality tools for neurodiverse learners. The firm is committed to supporting early-stage startups in Ireland and Europe, focusing on inclusive solutions for underserved populations and targeting both hardware and software solutions.
