In March 2024, Watiga Trust Ltd. entered into an agreement to join the GLAS network, aiming to enhance its capabilities in the Asia-Pacific region. The acquisition was completed in December 2024, allowing Watiga Trust Ltd. to offer its loan agency and trustee services to local clients in Asia from a Singapore base, while providing its clients with access to an enhanced international service offering.

Prior to the acquisition, Watiga Trust Ltd. was involved in various corporate finance transactions, including acting as bond and security trustee, providing account bank services, and offering custodian trustee services. The firm also provided private client solutions such as discretionary family trusts, private unit investment trusts, testamentary trusts, and charitable trusts. The integration with GLAS has expanded Watiga Trust Ltd.'s service offerings and regional presence, strengthening its position in the Asia-Pacific market.
