We Founder Circle Angel Fund

We Founder Circle Angel Fund is a community-based investment platform that connects startups with angel investors. Established in 2020, it has rapidly emerged as one of India's largest angel investor networks, facilitating over 71 startup investments in 2022 alone. The platform offers a tech-enabled global investment and networking ecosystem, providing seed funding, strategic business partnerships, and global networking opportunities to entrepreneurs. Its community comprises over 2,000 founders and more than 6,700 strategic angels from over 40 countries, including India, the United States, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Australia, Germany, and Switzerland.

The fund's investment strategy is sector-agnostic, focusing on early-stage startups across various industries such as technology, healthcare, real estate, financial services, consumer goods, education, media, entertainment, transportation, energy, agriculture, retail, telecommunications, manufacturing, and logistics. It primarily invests in seed to Series B stages, with investment sizes ranging from $300,000 to $1 million. The fund has a strong emphasis on community building and networking, both digitally and physically, to foster connections and collaborations within the startup ecosystem.

In addition to its investment activities, We Founder Circle has launched several initiatives to support the startup ecosystem. These include Invstt.com, a startup marketplace designed to streamline portfolio management, angel investing, and networking; Invstt Trust, a SEBI-registered angel fund with a corpus of up to INR 400 crore; and the We Founder Circle Global Angels Fund, a cross-border fund targeting global investors. The fund's commitment to empowering entrepreneurs is further demonstrated by its support for over 150 startups to date, as of March 2024, and its ambition to invest in 200 startups in 2023.
