XesGalicia is a regional public company owned by the Xunta de Galicia, dedicated to fostering the economic and industrial development of Galicia. It manages various venture capital entities tailored to different types of companies and projects, aiming to support the growth of the Galician business environment and promote entrepreneurship and innovation. Over the period from 2020 to 2022, XesGalicia approved new transactions benefiting more than 50 projects with an aggregate volume exceeding 35 million euros, thereby supporting the productive activity of Galician companies. The company actively participates in several financing programs for entrepreneurship, both vertical and horizontal, which have received numerous national and international recognitions. XesGalicia continues to provide Galician companies, or those willing to develop economic activity in Galicia, with funds especially aimed at supporting the modernization of the productive framework through digital transformation, innovation, or internationalization, collaborating with both large business corporations and SMEs. The financing of new business initiatives of recent creation remains one of its main goals in the short term, for which it is extending its collaboration in new programs to promote entrepreneurship. Additionally, XesGalicia offers products specially designed to reinforce the equity of companies, facilitate the increase of business size through mergers and acquisitions, or facilitate business succession through various formulas, especially necessary in the case of family businesses. In coherence with the above and within the framework of the objectives of reactivating the productive structure and business transformation and growth after the Covid-19 crisis, XesGalicia has a specific line of financing called 'Transformation Line', endowed with 30 million euros.
